if it “helps,” vegetable oil is a sort of redneck home remedy for fleas and ticks. (I admit it: I’ve definitely put vegetable oil on my dog before. But the trick is that you actually have to wash it off afterward, ideally with dish soap.) Why she’d put it on your cat in the first place? still a mystery though, haha.

This qualifies as abuse, & I’d advise the Animal Svc. authorities about it. I take Animal calls for the city at my work, but this is weirder than anything I’ve ever had!
I’d also stick the roomie & crazy sister for any vet or groomer bills from this incident.

nothing like a fucked up sibling to liven up your day. You just never know. I rented a room to a guy and then his brother…who it turned out had a drug and alcohol problem!
