And GarterSnake, I think the dehydrator simply stuck out in the OP’s mind, not as something “shocking.” I think it’s fairly shocking to purchase a dehydrator. As I have one of my own, it’s a huuuuuge contraption that takes up a lot of space. And it a pain in the ass to clean.
