Oh, that’s awful. Well at least *you* can look back at this situation, and have a clear conscious about how you behaved. You talked to her like an adult, showed mercy to a helpless animal, gave her a chance to fix things, and then finally you had to do what you had to do. It sucks that you have to pay the bill, but if you really want her to fork over the cash, maybe you should go on Judge Judy!

What you said in the story about small dogs being adopted quickly is not true. There is actually an excess of chiwawas and chiwawa cross breeds along with other kinds of small dogs. They are popular, yes, but not as beloved pets. People give up on them easily, because they become too much to handle, or they have they have to move. Whatever silly reason. ):

That’s disgusting, not to mention cruel. It’s people like that who make it difficult for dog owners to find a place to live. One bad experience and landlords won’t take the risk again (not that you can blame them). It was sweet of you to walk the dog.

This is my story. Andrew — I looked into taking her to small claims, I work for attorneys and it would be so hard to prove that she lived in that room and that it was her dog. I thought about putting an ad on craigslsit and just giving the dog away while she wasn’t home but I didn’t thinking it would cause too many problems. *sigh* I just hope whenever I move out the bill won’t be too bad :/
