MVWR is Moving Out

We have some irreconcilable differences. We simply haven’t had the time to properly dedicate to MVWR for the last year, so we are giving notice and moving on out. Even with the help of our wonderful Admins we just don’t have the time and energy that it takes to run this blog. However, we are leaving the site up for now, so that people can still enjoy the stories or check out the funny and disturbing Best Of section. Our sincere thanks for reading and here’s hoping to better living situations for all!

Double whammy, two of my favorite sites gone! Thanks for leaving them up, and I’m sure you’ll do great at whatever else you touch since you’ve made such a success of this site.

-Sigh- First MVWJ, now this one. Maybe you all should think of giving/selling the rights to the site to someone who does have time and energy to run it?

Please oh please tell me this isn’t in response to all “UGH THIS SITE SUCKS NOW” comments left by people who didn’t personally find a particular story funny.

This sucks! What am I gonna do with my life now??!! This ruins my whole day. I check MVWD and MVWR every workday and need it to get me through the day. I was bummed when MVWJ stopped but I can’t handle this.

Seriously, try to find some responsible, trustworthy people to update the sites. There are people like me, who have nothing to do at work, who’d be able to take on a task like this.

This is my first post, although I have been following these sites for a while now. I have greatly enjoyed the stories posted here and will miss it. Some were vastly funnier than others, but that is to be expected from a website that relies solely on user submitted content. I would check this site every day, hoping for a new post to make me laugh in sympathy with the OP.

I had stories I wished to share of my bad roommates and dates, but I knew that I could never write them well enough to pass muster with the community.
I’m sorry to see this end, but I thank you for your hard work and I wish you all the best for the future. It was a fun idea and may the awesome side of the community that was built here live on!
